Match results are in for the Grangefield Vs Firebirds.
It was a hard fought match but it unfortunately ended with the Firebirds lose.
The Firebirds had a rather slow start, with this being their first match together, they were clearly trying to find their feet against the vastly improved Grangefield team. But by the 2nd set, they seemed to get more into their own rhythm with great covering and defensive work. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to bring them victory this time.
MVP for this match was @h.brown01. With great back court covering as well as strong blocks at the net, it was a well deserved pick. 🙌
Both matches yesterday have shown that while we have all improved greatly since September 2023, we all still have greater heights we can reach. So we'll see you all tonight for training 💪
